Job Summary

Vested Advocates is currently seeking clinical neuropsychologists to join its team. Our clinical neuropsychologists perform on-sight neuropsychological assessments for children, teenagers, and young adults at our Norwell Learning Center. Evaluations will largely be used to support families seeking IEPs and 504 Plans.

Common diagnoses include neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disorders, traumatic brain injuries, memory disorders, and attentional impairment. This part-time position offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and a positive, team-oriented work environment.

General Responsibilities

  • Board certified, Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited psychology program
  • Internship with training from the Houston guidelines and ABPP board eligibility
  • Must be licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts

*Note: Existing health plan participation is not necessary

Additional Prerequisites

  • All applicants must be Massachusetts residents
  • All applicants must successfully pass state and national background checks

Position Requirements

  • Must be able to regularly commute to Norwell, MA office
  • Possess the experience, humility, and tact necessary to work ethically and professionally with a wide range of children, teens, and young adults
  • Demonstrate the technical and professional skills required to work independently and remotely, including collaborating with supervisor, team members, and staff to ensure deadlines are met
  • Possess excellent clinical writing skills
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills, especially when communicating with parents, clients, and colleagues
  • Have excellent instincts for managing client stress and anxiety, the ability to navigate the requests of a demanding clientele, and the foresight to head off problems before they arise
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism, expertise, and the maturity to reach out to others for input and advice
  • The ability to tactfully negotiate complicated family dynamics while upholding accepted professional and ethical standards
